| Symptom | Cause | Fix |

| "No Blocks links between issues in this scope" | The issues in scope have no links of the chosen type | Pick another type from the Link type menu, or add links with Link work item |
| "This site has no issue link types" | An admin removed all link types | Ask a Jira admin to add one under Settings, Issues, Issue linking |
| Jira error text in the canvas (for example "Field 'foo' does not exist") | The JQL scope is invalid | Test the JQL in the issue navigator, fix it, select Apply |
| Stats say capped at 2,000 | The scope matches more than 2,000 issues | Narrow the JQL or tick Hide Done |
| Arrows point the wrong way for a custom type | The type's outward and inward labels are defined the other way round | Ask an admin to check the type's labels; see Link types and direction |
| An issue I expect is missing | You lack permission to view it, or it is Done with Hide Done on | Check the issue's permissions; untick Hide Done |
| An issue appears dimmed with "outside scope" | It is linked to an in-scope issue but not matched by the JQL | Widen the JQL if you want its chains too |
| PNG button does nothing | The browser blocked a download from the embedded app frame | Allow downloads for your Atlassian site, or try another browser |
| Panel or page says "Loading dependencies…" forever | Browser blocked the Forge iframe | Disable strict tracking protection for *.atlassian.net, reload |
| Graph is too small to read | Many chains in one scope | Use Find key… and hover, zoom with the wheel, or narrow the scope |
| Dependencies entry missing from the project sidebar | App just installed, or sidebar collapsed | Reload; look under Apps in the sidebar |
