Known limitations

We state these plainly so you can plan.

1. Read-only in version 1. LinkLens draws links; it does not create, edit or delete them. Use Jira's link editor. Editing from the canvas is on the roadmap.
2. Issue links only. Parent/child relationships (epic to story, story to sub-task) are not drawn as edges. A toggle for hierarchy edges is planned.
3. One link type at a time. This is deliberate, to keep the picture readable, but it means a chain that mixes blocks and depends on has to be viewed twice.
4. 2,000 issues per graph on the project page. Narrow the JQL scope for bigger projects.
5. 300 issues and 5 hops per issue panel. Use the project page for the full picture.
6. Issues outside the scope are not expanded. They appear as dimmed cards so cross-project blockers are visible, but their own chains are only drawn when you widen the scope to include them.
7. Single site only. Links to issues on another Atlassian site are not followed.
8. PNG export only. SVG and copy-to-clipboard are on the roadmap.
9. Cloud only. Not available for Jira Data Center.
