- Runs on Atlassian. LinkLens is built on Atlassian Forge and runs entirely inside Atlassian's infrastructure. It declares no external network access. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
- What is stored. Only per-project settings: the chosen link type id, the JQL scope text and the Hide Done flag, keyed by project id, in Forge's hosted storage inside your Atlassian tenancy. No issue data, no personal data.
- Permissions respected. Issue data is read as the person using the app, so a graph never shows an issue that person cannot already open in Jira.
- Scopes requested and why | Scope | Used for | |---|---| |
read:jira-work| Read issues, their status and their issue links to draw the graph; read the site's link types | |storage:app| Remember each project's link type, JQL scope and Hide Done setting | - No write scopes. The app cannot modify issues, links, fields or settings.
- Data residency. Forge apps follow the data residency of your Atlassian site.
- Vulnerability reports: email the support address in Support with "security" in the subject.
