Getting started
Last updated 2026-09-30
1. Install on Confluence
- Open TeamLens for Confluence on the Atlassian Marketplace and select Get it now (or Try it free).
- Choose your site. Confluence admin rights are required.
2. Connect it to Jira
TeamLens for Confluence reads Jira issues, so it must also be connected to Jira on the same site. A site admin does this once from Manage apps (the app shows Jira as an optional product it can connect to). There is nothing extra to buy and no separate Jira app to install.
Until Jira is connected, every TeamLens macro shows Connect TeamLens to Jira instead of a report.
3. Add a report to a page
- Edit a page and type
/TeamLens, then pick TeamLens team report. - In the panel that opens choose a Report, a Scope (Jira projects or a JQL query) and optionally some Teams. Select Save.
- Publish the page. The report loads live every time someone opens it.
Prerequisites
- Confluence Cloud and Jira Cloud on the same site.
- The native Team field (Atlassian Teams) set on your Jira issues.
- Velocity needs Jira Software sprints; the other reports work on any Jira project.
What the app never does
It never edits Jira issues, teams or Confluence content, and it stores nothing. Each viewer sees only the issues their own Jira permissions allow.
