Do I also need TeamLens for Jira installed?

No. TeamLens for Confluence connects to Jira itself. TeamLens for Jira is a separate app with Jira dashboards, JQL functions and an issue panel; the two work independently and can be used together.

Why does the macro say "Connect TeamLens to Jira"?

The app is installed on Confluence but has not been connected to Jira on this site yet. A site admin can connect it from Manage apps. There is nothing extra to buy. If you see "No access to Jira" instead, the app is connected but Jira refused to read data as you (no Jira access on the site, or no permission to browse the projects).

Who can see the numbers?

Every viewer loads the report as themselves. Two people can see different counts on the same page if their Jira permissions differ. People without Jira access see a "No access to Jira" message instead of data.

Is the data a snapshot?

No, it is live. The report loads when the page is opened; Refresh reloads it. Nothing is cached or stored.

How do I show just one team?

Edit the macro and pick the team under Teams (optional). Choose several teams to compare them.

Can I use a saved Jira filter?

Use the JQL scope with filter = 12345 (or the filter name in quotes).

Where are the member counts from TeamLens for Jira?

Not included in the Confluence macro yet: it only needs read:jira-work, and team size comes from the Atlassian Teams API, which needs extra scopes.

Does the macro appear in PDF or Word exports?

Not yet. Exports show a placeholder; view the page in Confluence for the live report.
