Getting started

Install

1. Open the TeamLens page on the Atlassian Marketplace and select Get it now (or Try it free on sites above 10 users).
2. Choose your Jira Cloud site. Jira admin rights are required to install.
3. Installation takes under a minute. No configuration screen is needed.

The app is free for sites with up to 10 users. Larger sites get a 30-day free trial, then USD 1 per user per month billed by Atlassian with your Jira subscription.

Prerequisites

• Jira Cloud (Software, Work Management or Service Management).
• The native Team field (Atlassian Teams) on your issues. It exists on every Jira Cloud site; you may need to add it to your issue screens. Atlassian docs: Manage Atlassian Teams in Jira.
• At least one Atlassian Team created under Teams in the top navigation, with issues assigned to it.

First five minutes

1. Dashboard: open any dashboard, select Edit, Add gadget, search for Team Statistics, add it. Enter a JQL filter such as project = ABC AND resolution = Unresolved, choose Issue count or Story points, select Save.
2. Issue navigator: run issue in teamIn("Your Team Name") to list that team's work, or issue in noTeam() to find work nobody owns.
3. Issue view: open an issue with a Team set. The Team details panel on the right shows the team's description, size and whether you are a member.

What the app does not change

It never edits issues, teams, fields or permissions. It reads data as the person viewing it, so everyone sees only what their Jira permissions already allow.
