Do I also need LinkLens for Jira installed?

No. LinkLens for Confluence connects to Jira itself. LinkLens for Jira is a separate app that adds a Dependencies page and an issue panel inside Jira; the two work independently.

Why does the macro say "Connect LinkLens to Jira"?

The app is installed on Confluence but not yet connected to Jira on this site. A site admin connects it from Manage apps; there is nothing extra to buy.

Why does it say "No access to Jira"?

The app is connected, but Jira refused to read data as you: you may not have Jira access on the site, or you cannot browse the projects in the scope.

Is the graph a snapshot?

No, it is live. It loads when the page opens; Refresh reloads it. Use PNG for a point-in-time image.

Which link type should I pick?

The one whose outward label means "must happen first". Blocks is the usual choice. For a custom type such as Depends on, check which label is outward; if arrows look reversed, the type is defined the other way round.

Can I use a saved Jira filter?

Yes: choose JQL query and enter filter = 12345 (or the filter name in quotes).

Does the graph appear in PDF or Word exports?

Not yet. Use PNG and paste the image where a static copy is needed.
